An Electrical engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This position will be overseeing electrical and instrumentation/control systems design in complex industrial facilities, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.

responsibilities:
- Act as the Electrical Engineer on facility projects.
- Represent client interests in specification editing and design reviews.
- Provide technical feedback on Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls deliverables.
- Review design packages and documentation from third-party teams.
- Work on fast-paced industrial projects with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing.
- Arc flash, voltage drop, short circuit, and load flow calculations.
- Electrical equipment specification and selection.
- PLC, DCS, and controls systems.
- NFPA 70 (NEC), IEEE standards.
- Electrical modeling software (e.g., SKM PTW, EasyPower).

- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and control narratives.
- Instrument specification and controls design.
- Network design and backbone layout.

- Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain in Idaho).
