salary: $69,680 - $73,840 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment per local/national codes
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions using testing equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Plan layouts for wiring and equipment installations
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards or non-compliance with codes
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work performed
• Train and oversee apprentices as needed
• Operate lifts, scaffolds, and other tools for elevated or hard-to-reach installations
• Support electrical control work, including PLC troubleshooting (under guidance)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA safety regulations and procedures
• Maintain mechanical/electrical aptitude, including knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
• Use various hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
