Construction Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Construction Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering and five years of relevant experience to manage and support construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Requirements:

• Five years of relevant experience.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Army/USACE projects.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Project Engineer on assigned contracts.

• Perform routine project tasks independently; escalate complex issues.

• Participate in contract modification process.

• Consult with stakeholders regarding project progress and issues.

• Conduct pre-work, coordination, preparatory phase, and safety meetings.

• Study plans/specifications for construction requirements.

• Recommend changes to plans/specifications as needed.

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans.

• Support onsite Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) activities.

• Monitor contractor's compliance with plans/specifications.

• Advise Resident Engineer on construction progress and potential delays.

• Update project status in RMS system.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
