Welder/Fitter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter who can read blueprints and work with mild steel. The role involves working on large mining equipment, such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. Candidates must be comfortable welding FCAW in all positions. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints. Work with mild steel, performing welding tasks on large mining equipment. Perform MIG welding and FCAW in all positions. Fabricate and assemble components using welding techniques. Conduct simple wrenching tasks involving valves, pipes, and hydraulic assemblies according to prints. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding and fitting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Strong experience in Flux Core welding. Skills in MIG welding and working with steel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in fabrication and assembly. Entry-level candidates are welcome, as weld testing will be conducted from easy to difficult tasks. Why Work Here? The facility follows lean manufacturing principles to ensure efficiency and productivity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, Idaho. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
