Structural Engineer

A multi-discipline engineering service provider in New York is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team. This role is great for someone with the right background. This firm works hard to ensure that their projects are planned, designed and managed to meet not only high expectations, but to exceed their clients' goals. As their team continues to grow, they are seeking a highly motivated engineer to join their team.

Hybrid POSITION

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from an NCEES accredited university program
• EIT or PE
• 3-10 years of experience
• Experience in structural systems, design of buildings in NYC, steel, masonry structures, , shallow/deep foundations, and construction practices
• Knowledge of Structural programs
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Position Details:

• Develop calculations for safe, economical, and prudent solution of structural design of structures.
• Provide high level of discipline and department technical expertise associated with project work.
• Review/check engineering designs, drawings and other projects documents related to structural department.
• Certify designs and drawings as required
• Maintain and upgrade standards and procedures for structural department
• Interact with other department managers, clients, and contractors.

Senior Structural Engineer Compensation: (Not limited to)

• $100-145k base compensation (Negotiable depending upon experience and technical skill set)
• Medical, Dental, Vision
• PTO (Holidays off)
• Bonuses from 3k-15k
