Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with over 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Construction, or Structural fields. The role involves traveling to various client facilities to ensure the correct construction of floor slabs for the efficiency of picking robots. You will consult with project managers and contractors to resolve issues and provide detailed reporting to educate partners on environmental findings during pre-construction and construction phases. Strong communication skills are essential, and the ability to read AutoCAD is a plus. Experience with industrial projects and concrete is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to achieve goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in the Architecture, Construction, or Structural field.
  • Project management and coordination skills.
  • Construction management expertise.
  • Proficiency in architecture and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Structural Engineering.

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Work Environment

This position involves a standard 40-hour workweek with an expectation to travel about 50% of the time. You will be based in Boston but will travel to the UK within the first two weeks of the assignment to meet the Technical Integration team, and frequent travel across the US and Canada is expected within the first six months to visit all facilities. Weekly calls with the Head of the project in the UK will transition to bi-weekly as you become more familiar with the role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
