  • Start Date: July 1, 2025
  • Salary, $200,000 - $230,000 per year.
  • 260 days a year • 13 Paid Holidays • 30 Vacation Days • 3 Personal Leave Days

Education and Experience:

  • M.Ed. School Administration
  • Experience as a school principal

Performance Criteria:

  • Serve as a member of the District Administrative Team.
  • Work collaboratively with the District's Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Teaching.
  • Assist administrators to implement the District's Strategic Plan at all schools and administrative departments.
  • Work effectively with staff to improve student learning throughout the West Valley School District.
  • Supervise Finance Director, Human Resources Director, Facilities Director, IT Director, Transportation Director, and Child Nutrition Director.
  • Serve as Family Liaison for District Office.
  • Serve as Legal Services Liaison for District Office.
  • Assist Director of Human Resources with investigations and resolution of grievances, as needed.
  • Serve as District Office contact for student safety.
  • Serve as Compliance Officer for prohibition of student Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying.
  • Serve as District Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator.
  • Serve as District Title IX Coordinator.
  • Provide leadership for the District's collective bargaining team and serve as lead negotiator.
  • Oversee all fiscal functions of the District, including bond and levy financing.
  • Oversee capital projects - lead the development and implementation of capital facility planning and construction.
  • Manage District insurance and risk management programs.
  • Review the creation of all non-employee vendor contracts.
  • Coordinate enrollment projections/demographic information/District boundaries and attendance areas.
  • Support priority-based budgeting with priority for high expectations for student achievement.
  • Support a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Possess excellent communication/human relation skills, beginning with active listening skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to data-driven decision-making to support an outstanding student experience.
  • Performs such other tasks as directed by the Superintendent.

  • Ability to interact positively and confidentially with school district patrons and staff
  • Bilingual Preferred

Working Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting (able to lift 50 pounds and assisting in lifting over 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job related is performed under a generally hazard free environment and in a clean atmosphere.
