Renaissance Roofing Inc. - Roofing Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to build accurate cost estimates for various projects. This role requires proficiency in industry-standard software, as well as the capability to negotiate contracts effectively. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring cost control and maintaining project budgets while working closely with the production teams.

Duties

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
Build comprehensive estimates that reflect the scope of work required for each project.
Work together with our sales team and office staff to meet client needs.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimates.
Negotiate contracts with clients to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating and assess any potential challenges that may arise during construction.
Requirements

Must be familiar with Apple/macOS systems.
Valid ODL and clean driving record.
Experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies, or the willingness to learn.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for both the company and clients.
Knowledge of cost control measures and contract management practices within the construction industry is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams on-site and communicate effectively across various stakeholders.
A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in all estimates provided.
