Civil Engineering Technician II

Location: Tualatin, OR 97062 (Prefer worker based in Tualatin, OR office, (2nd Choice - west coast, 3rd choice mountain time zone))

Duration: 6 months with potential to extend/convert

Description: Engineering Technician 2 under close supervision, performs basic functions requiring technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, processes, standards, and document control processes/procedures for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverable. Evaluates methods used to accomplish the drafting and/or design activities. This role will be responsible for assisting with the development site drainage, grading, utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections within Civil 3D.
• Autodesk AutoCAD
• Autodesk Civil 3D (Plan/Profile production)
• Bentley MicroStation Experience 2D/3D
• PLS-CADD
• Overhead Transmission experience
• Bluebeam
• Excellent time management
• Team building
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Education:

• Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Typically, a minimum of 1-2 year related work experience.
