Job Description As a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires developing a comprehensive understanding of project deliverables and maintaining effective communication with customers. Responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of the scope of deliverables as defined by System Sales Quotation, Customer Specifications, and Purchase Orders associated with the project.
- Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for customer communication on assigned projects.
- Prepare Software License Agreements and addendum updates.
- Work with System Design Engineering to develop, communicate, and track comprehensive project schedules supporting customer requirements and milestones aligned with manufacturing and support capabilities.
- Drive profitability through understanding of quoted cost basis and monitoring adherence to material and labor estimates.
- Ensure departmental resources (Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service) are aligned to support project objectives, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Transmit and monitor technical document submittals supporting RFI, Design Approvals, and Change Order requests.
- Identify, negotiate, and work with outside contractors as required.
- Host customer factory visits for FATs, training, and project meetings.
- Prepare and submit Packing Slips, transportation requests, and customs paperwork as required.
- Prepare Invoice Requests in accordance with project payment milestones.
- Prepare monthly billing forecasts.
- Maintain PM project folders in hard copy and electronic archives on the engineering server in the designated directory.
- Interact with all levels within the company.
- Travel as required for project review, design, and progress meetings, ensuring compliance with Company ISO Procedures and Health & Safety Standards.
- Project management experience, particularly in SCADA and utilities engineering.
- Engineering knowledge, including DNP protocol and TCP/IP protocol.
- Prior experience negotiating and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to internal/external customers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the work performed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience within utilities or SCADA systems.
