Rogers Group is currently seeking a motivated, results oriented, PROJECT MANAGER to grow our sitework and paving market in our Alabama operations located in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety, ethics, and quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities and groups of work teams to produce maximum project efficiency.
  • Interfaces with customers, architects/engineers, and contractors to provide information for cost data regarding projects.
  • Forward-thinking individual that knows where a project is going and how to handle issues as they arise.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with all internal and external customers to include (sub-contractors, vendors, general contractors, ALDOT personnel, city officials, etc.).
  • Follows up on job progress, status of estimates, invoicing, etc.
  • Other task and duties as may be assigned by manager.
  • Performs responsibilities included but not limited to those listed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+years of experience in heavy/civil project management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of managing DOT work is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and customer relations skills.
  • Experience in CPM scheduling is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proven record of being a self-starter and able to work under limited supervision.
