We are Ad Hock. Visa's internal creative agency. Just as Visa founder Dee Hock revolutionized the way we pay, Ad Hock is taking a new approach to the internal creative team by developing a fully functional advertising agency in-house. We create high-visibility content to support every layer of the funnel starting with brand awareness. Approximately 50% of our efforts support Visas core brand and sponsorships. The other 50% of our work is dedicated to supporting Visas partners and clients as an external creative agency. Its the perfect mix of client-side and agency life!

Our agency is rapidly expanding, and were looking for a Creative Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development and execution of creative projects, from initial concept to final delivery. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, and other creatives, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for account managers, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is an analyst-level position and sits on the Creative Operations team reporting into the Creative Services Director.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the planning and execution of Lifecycle/DR creative projects from brief to delivery, ensuring they meet the objectives, expectations, and standards of the clients and the agency
  • Manage the scope, budget, timeline, and resources of multiple projects simultaneously, using project management tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with account managers, creative directors, designers, writers, and other creative team members to develop and deliver innovative and effective creative solutions across various channels and formats
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, managing feedback, and resolving issues
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including marketing teams, media agencies, production vendors, and freelancers
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the agency's creative capabilities, processes, and culture

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
3 or more years of work experience with a creative agency or creative team within a brand.
Experience in independently managing Lifecycle and Direct Response creative projects. With additional/come knowledge across other media and formats, such as web, social, video, print, etc.
A user of Project Management software Adobe WorkFront or having the ability to master project management tools quickly.
Ability to develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including account managers, senior leadership, creatives, producers, developers, and vendors
Ability to optimize creative workflows and processes, identify and resolve operational issues, and improve efficiency and productivity
Ability to maintain high standards of creative excellence, brand consistency, and industry best practices
Familiarity with licensing, rights management, and other business affairs generalities
Experience working with quick-turn content and longer format campaign rollouts
Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs and technologies

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 135,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
