In this role, the welder will be expected to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate techniques and using various welding devices. The ideal candidate will bring technical know-how and an innovative mindset to the role and help drive our industry-leading solutions.

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Ability to design and build basic and/or complex structures, supports or framework in the execution of daily tasks
  • Ability to Weld using GMAW, MIG process to perform oxy/acetylene torch, plasma arc cutting processes
  • Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders to operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
  • Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables
  • Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • 1-3 years MIG welding experience
  • 1-3 years' experience operating in a similar capacity within a manufacturing or relatable facility
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch and hearing
  • Work in a team environment and respect all teammates Physical demands and abilities
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred
  • Must have a strong command of the english lanuage, both written and verbal

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
  • Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  • Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts
  • Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
