Construction Coordinator Area

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Job Duties \* Performs ticket processingduties through Digger\'s Hotline for locating facilities to ensure safeexcavation. \* Answers incoming phone calls from utility companies andcompany Foremen. \* Manages scheduling crews and coordinating withdrilling division, communicating crew list to customers. \* Responds toinquiries regarding excavation accurately and in a timely manner. \*Contacts utility customers to inform them of upcoming work on theirproperties via a telephone call or email message. \* Communicates withsupervisors and crew members to coordinate work schedules with upcomingprojects. \* Reconciles billing by understanding units/descriptions ofwork. \* Maintains the database for completed work orders andrestorations. \* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications \* High schooldiploma or equivalent required. \* Minimum of 2 years of experience in acall center or similar environment preferred. \* Excellent written andverbal communication skills. \* Strong organizational skills andattention to detail. \* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Wordand Excel required. \* Ability to operate equipment such as computerkeyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, phone, and similar machines. \*Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, and maps.\* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or in ateam-oriented environment. \* Must be able to sit and talk on the phonefor long periods of time.
