Performs plasmacutting, ox-fuel cutting and other carbon arc gouging. Read andinterpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings todetermine welding requirements. Completes weldments using weld fixturesaccording to welding procedure specifications (WPS). Set up weldingequipment, adjust machine settings, and select appropriate filler metalsfor each job.
