Welder $20-26/hr Job Description Join our team as a Welder where you'll become part of a dynamic welding team. You will engage in the production of auto parts including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Prepare materials prior to welding and ensure the quality and strength of welds. Work comfortably in various welding positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. Minimize distortion or warping during welding processes. Adhere to safety precautions and OSHA regulations. Utilize welding machines and tools proficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. Ability to pass math test involving simple adding/subtracting decimals and identifying measurements on a ruler in inches. Capability to pass MIG/TIG weld test. Competence in blueprint reading. Welding helmet and gloves are required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
