Scraper Operator/ Heavy equipment Operator - Grade Cutting (Per Diem) Location: Various Job Sites Nationwide Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Saturdays as needed) Industry: Civil & Commercial Construction About the Role Seeking an experienced Scraper Operator to join our earthwork and grading team. In this role, you'll be responsible for cutting to gradeoperating a scraper to remove or relocate earth and prepare the terrain for fine grading. Your work will directly support the Finish Dozer team in achieving precise, high-quality site preparation. What You'll Do Operate scraper equipment to cut and level terrain to grade specifications. Conduct daily pre-operation and end-of-day inspections of the machine. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to site management. Collaborate with other heavy equipment operators and site personnel. Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment. What We're Looking For Expert-level experience operating scrapers in civil or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of grading, earthwork, and earthmoving techniques. Familiarity with equipment such as: Belly Scrapers Tractor and Pan Haul Trucks Utility Tractors Off-Road Dump Trucks Preferred Qualifications Valid driver's license (preferred, not required). Ability to be insured to operate company vehicles for travel to job sites across the country.
