This is an immediate, full-time opportunity for a driven estimator who can produce precise proposals, manage pre-construction communications, and support a collaborative operations team. What You'll Do As the Commercial Painting Estimator:
- Generate accurate, timely cost estimates for commercial painting and coating projects
- Conduct on-site visits to evaluate project requirements, confirm scope, and gather necessary details
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and bid documents to prepare detailed proposals
- Assist project managers with pre-construction meetings, submittals, and schedules
- Maintain active communication with potential clients and follow up on outstanding bids
- Build and nurture client relationships to ensure repeat business and referral opportunities
- Stay current on market trends, material pricing, and competitive benchmarks
Must-Haves as the Commercial Painting Estimator:
- 5+ years of professional experience in commercial painting estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive
- Strong budgeting and calculation skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple estimates simultaneously
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites in the Charlotte area
