Welder
Pay Rate: $20-$24/ per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 4: 30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a well-established metal fabrication team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks in accordance with safety protocols and quality standards to support the production and repair of various parts and components. Key Responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper assembly and welding procedures.
Operate welding equipment and machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
Inspect completed welds for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and production deadlines.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including minor repairs and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
Valid welding certification (if applicable) and any other relevant certifications.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
Experience with welding machines and other related equipment.
