Verdantas is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer II. This position will be located in our Marysville, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction of wet utility (water, sewer, and storm drainage), streets, sanitary sewer pump and storm drain stations, street lighting, traffic signals, buildings, and related public works and City building projects; research project design requirements; perform complex calculations; and prepare estimates of material costs and time considerations
- Collect data and gather information or documents as needed for projects
- Investigate field problems
- Order survey, mapping, and data collection
- Prepare special engineering studies and reports
- Provide support to engineering and surveying staff members as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering or Land Surveying
- Possession of an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) or Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certificate, working towards obtaining a professional License
- 2-5 years of experience in land development civil-site engineering design
- AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D a plus
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation
