Job Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment, and inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
• Perform various types of equipment and building repairs using skills that include thorough mechanical knowledge, and basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Lead the diagnosis of equipment issues to determine root cause of problem and determine the most cost-effective action.
• Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.
• Lead contact with outside contractors and services called in for technical repairs
• Diagnose HVAC system issues
• Provide accurate and detailed repair quotes
• Educate customers about HVAC systems and products as needed
• Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Communicate effectively with clients and customers
• Adhere to local HVAC codes and regulations
• Take on various tasks as directed by management based on company needs

What We’re Looking For:

• EPA certification or willingness to become certified immediately
• Strong relationship-building skills, based on teamwork and mutual respect
• A positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Good communication skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technology

Additional Details:

• All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• A valid driver’s license is required, and a recent DMV safe driving record must be provided
