Preconstruction Project Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Preconstruction Project Coordinator to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting the preconstruction department by coordinating construction projects ranging from $5 to $80 million for food facilities. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination and administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating construction projects with budgets ranging from $5 to $80 million.
  • Manage and process Requests for Information (RFIs) and change orders.
  • Handle administrative tasks not covered by the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate licensing across various states involved in projects.
  • Perform contract administration and document control.
  • Engage in project coordination and administration, including scheduling meetings.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain project schedules.
  • Participate in job cost analysis and cost control measures.
  • Ensure adherence to safety training protocols.
  • Manage punch list activities.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in contract administration and document control.
  • Strong project coordination and administration skills.
  • Proficiency in managing RFIs and change orders.
  • Skilled in data entry and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with construction management practices.
  • Ability to perform job cost analysis and project schedule management.
  • Safety training knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a project coordinator.
  • Experience with subcontractors or contractors is beneficial.
  • Knowledge in punch list management.
Work Environment

The role involves both office and project site environments, providing a dynamic work setting where attention to detail and adaptability are key. You will engage with various technologies and equipment to manage and coordinate construction activities effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
