We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing one of our production lines - safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity. This role assists planning in development of the production plan and ensures all direct manufacturing personnel are trained and equipped to be successful.In this Role, you will be responsible for:Meeting all defined standards and productivity goalsReleasing and prioritizing work orders to achieve production schedules, assigning work and estimating worker hour requirements for successful completion of job assignments while meeting delivery, quality, and cost metricsCorrectly interpreting specifications, blueprints and job orders to works and effectively assigning dutiesMeeting production schedules, efficiencies and utilization targetsRecommending and initiating measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product within company guidelinesProactively working to improve working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, departments or work crewAnalyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving work problemsCorrectly and efficiently estimating, requisitioning and inspecting material as requiredConferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments; successfully collaborating cross-functionally to deliver business resultsDevelopment of a superior workforce: Working with HR to recruit, interview, select, hire; Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff; Effectively cross-training to reduce business vulnerability; Providing effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when necessary.Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employeeOther duties as assigned What you'll Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management or Operations Management is required.2+ years' supervisory experience and demonstrated experience assessing, motivating, and developing a highly efficient team2+ years' experience in manufacturing preferred, particularly in an electronics environmentKnowledge and experience in business, supervision, and managementBetter than average written and spoken communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff membersExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentStrong focus and attention to detailTime management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environmentExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong focus on customer serviceAbility to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization The target wage/salary range for this role may be within $90k - $120k plus annual bonus, depending on education and experience. We may look at a broader range for the right candidate.
