Our client is looking to stand up a Project Management Office (PMO) with the objective of creating a centralized department that establishes and maintains project management standards, processes, and best practices within an organization for electric distribution projects and operations. The primary goal is to ensure projects are executed efficiently, align with organizational objectives, and achieve desired outcomes. Evergreen is looking to hire a lead Sr. Project Manager working directly with our utility client, leading all projects and programs centered around Utility Design projects across various states and CoOps. This individual will have multiple project managers reporting underneath them, where they will be responsible for managing project planning, project execution, reporting, project closeout and communication directly to our client and stakeholders. Skills and Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in design and engineering, preferably in the utility or energy industry. Bachelors Degree required, engineering preferred. Experience as a design manager with an electrical engineering degree. Will be responsible for the quality control and quality assurance of drawings and designs as it relates to new construction build outs on the distribution side. Experience communicating with field support, EPC and Construction firms to verify design and drawing questions and concerns. Documenting and driving adherence to client design standards, procedures and polices. Proven track record of continuous improvement processes that increase productivity and program efficiency.
