Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in Matthews, NC that is looking for a Project Manager with HVAC experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of HVAC systems formercial construction projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, schedule, and budget.
Review and approve HVAC drawings, specifications, and system designs.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
Budget and Cost Management:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC installation and systems.
Manage the project budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Track expenses, monitor costs, and ensure the project remains within budget.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead the HVAC installation team, including subcontractors, vendors, and laborers.
Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and quality control procedures.
Provide ongoing guidance, motivation, and support to team members.
Scheduling and Timelines:
Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
Coordinate work schedules between internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Oversee the quality of HVAC installations, ensuringpliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections to verify that installations meet industry standards and local codes.
Ensure all permits and inspections are secured in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC project management, specifically inmercial construction.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and industry standards.
Proven experience in managing large-scale HVAC projects from inception topletion.
