Production Operator Job Description Operators are responsible for a variety of product assembly, inspection, testing, operation of equipment/tools, and material/component processing tasks to meet production schedule requirements to the high-quality standard expected. You will play a key role in ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently meet all production work requirements assigned by following operating procedures and work instructions. Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary. Produce the highest standard of quality products possible in accordance with the company's ISO 9001:2015 procedures. Visually inspect products throughout the stages of production to identify defective parts, component orientation errors, missing components, or wrong part insertion. Conduct initial testing for product conformity. Assist in providing an organized and clean workplace, including all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures. Participate in and implement continuous improvement projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly and production tasks. Ability to use hand tools, blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and magnifiers. Experience in microscope inspection, soldering, welding, wiring, cable assembly. Familiarity with cleanroom environments and medical device or jewelry assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in wiring and soldering is advantageous. Why Work Here? The team consists of two people per department, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
