Full-Line Construction Equipment Sales

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary of Position This is a a base plus commission

position with the option of a guarantee for the first year. Sell, rent,

and demo new and used construction equipment to new and existing

customers. Position Overview Represents the company for the sale of

machinery to customers in a defined sales area. Maintains current

product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially

saleable by the dealership. Monitors competitive activity/products and

timely communicates to management, accordingly. Maintains all customer

information in assigned territory for sales management. Knows and

follows a defined sales process. Conducts new equipment field

demonstrations. Monitors trends in customer\'s business activities and

timely communicates to management. Maintains current knowledge of

financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new

and used goods. Attends applicable sales training events/seminars. May

maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to

evaluate properly for trading purposes. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND

QUALIFICATIONS: Job Requirements 1. Minimum of 1 year Outside Sales

experience in construction equipment and/or agricultural equipment

experience. 2. Knowledge of construction machine operation and

application and ability to demonstrate key product features and benefits

to customers. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4.

Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to satisfactorily

resolve customer concerns. 5. Good understanding of Microsoft Office and

general computer skills. Educations, Skills, and/or Experience

Requirements A successful candidate would have one year or more

experience in sales, a clean driving record, familiarization with

software applications (such as Microsoft Office Suite), familiar with

John Deere and competitive products, high school diploma or equivalent
