Hiring MIG Welders in Henderson, CO The welder/fabricator will be responsible for various types of welding and fabrication/assembly according to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. This role involves positioning pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools as per specifications. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential, as welding comprises 10%-90% of the daily activities. Additional duties include grinding, prep, layout, touch-up painting, bracketing, reading blueprints and piping diagrams, and operating hand tools efficiently, as well as cutting and threading pipe. Pay: $25.00hr - $27.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement) Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 5:00AM-3:30PM Job Description: Perform welding and fabrication according to customer drawings and specifications. Position pieces in jigs, holding fixtures, and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools. Commit to safety and quality in all work. Handle various shop and fabrication duties including grinding, prep, layout, touch-up painting, and bracketing. Read blueprints and piping diagrams. Operate and efficiently use hand tools. Cut and thread pipe. Qualifications: 3+ years of MIG welding experience Flux Core welding experience is a plus* Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication from prints Knowledge of ASME Standards (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Tube bending and conduit experience is a big plus. Work Environment: The position is based in a 100,000 sq. ft. facility located in Henderson, Colorado, operating Monday through Friday from 5am to 3:30pm. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting or moving up to 50 lbs, squatting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead. Why Work Here?
