Hiring immediately! Shift: 1st shift. 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Description Operate hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets and components. Apply laminate to wood surfaces. Use woodworking machines like routers, edge banders, and table saws to shape and finish wood parts. Participate in job setup and sequencing. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Mark dimensions of parts according to blueprint specifications. Match materials for color, grain, or texture. Bore holes for screws or dowels using hand or boring machines. Glue, fit, and clamp parts to form complete units. Sand and scrape surfaces and joints for finishing. Apply protective or decorative materials such as stain, varnish, or paint. Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience in cabinet making, specifically building wood cabinetry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Understanding of the cabinet making process from start to finish. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and stand all day. Proficiency in machine operation, CNC router, and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Cabinet design experience using CAD or Solidworks. Programming experience with CNC equipment. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Work Environment You will work in a medium-sized job shop environment that manufactures parts for tractor trailers and POP displays within stores. The job requires comfort around job shop machinery and adherence to safety protocols. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
