Panel Builder Job Description As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for fabricating electrical sub-assemblies for water chillers and process cooling equipment. This includes wiring custom control panels per detailed schematics and hard wiring equipment as per drawings. You will also inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operation, and record the results. In addition, you will adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. You will also clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. You will read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions. Your role involves continually improving processes to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven practices are in place. Maintaining a clean and safe environment through daily sweeping and general cleaning is also part of the job.
