Welder/Fabricator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary This position operates various pieces ofequipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications inconjunction with quality requirements, safety standards andmanufacturing philosophies within a team environment. Responsible forvarious types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishingoperations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications,or other forms of instruction. Summary of essential Job functions Worksfrom and interprets fairly complicated sketches, drawings, blueprints,routings, product specifications Produce high quality product of superbcraftsmanship Create custom fabrications made from Stainless Steel,Aluminum and Mild Steel for commercial and industrial clientele On-timedelivery of fabricated metal products Production of products consistentwith quality standards established Work with a heightened level of focuson SAFETY Work with good housekeeping and waste management practicesSummary of secondary Job functions Perform other duties as assigned bymanagement Qualifications required High school diploma or equivalency 4Years past experience in Metal Fabrication Industry Relevant ExperienceWorking knowledge of fixturing and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts,etc) Strong skills in Welding both MIG and TIG Motivated and ability toLearn Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and interpretshop and design drawings Layout and Measure Knowledge of hand toolsGrinding and detailed finishing Cutting, Sawing and Bending skillsIndustrial Forklift Operation Crane Operation A Technical Degree ispreferred Ability to do detailed work with a high degree of accuracyMust be self-motivated, and possess the ability to work independently,as well as in a team environment, with a positive attitude.
