Business Development Manager Sales Representative with a hunter mentality to expand presence in the automotive fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will focus on generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers. This is a high-energy, client-facing role for a sales professional passionate about prospecting, closing deals, and helping customers enhance their operations with superior solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  2. Identify and target potential customers within the automotive fabrication sector, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other relevant businesses.
  3. Actively research industry trends and attend trade shows or networking events to generate leads.
  4. Sales Strategy Execution:

  5. Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  6. Conduct cold calls, emails, and in-person visits to secure new accounts.
  7. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  8. Customer Relationship Management:

  9. Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams.
  10. Product Expertise:
    Provide product demonstrations and technical consultations to customers.

  11. Address customer concerns, answer technical questions, and coordinate with internal teams for customized solutions.
  12. Negotiation & Closing:

  13. Lead pricing discussions, negotiate contracts, and finalize sales agreements.
  14. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  15. Collaboration & Reporting:

  16. Work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  17. Provide regular updates to management on sales activity, pipeline progress, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a hunter in B2B sales
  • Experience selling technical or engineered products; knowledge of quality rack systems is a plus.
  • Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.
