This Job is in Alaska, seasonally.
Hours are 50-90 per week.
Job is fast paced, non-union.
There will be early mornings and late nights, that at times will be filled with pain and suffering.
In the middle of summer you will be cold, wet, tired (we all will be) and the trucks will keep showing up.
There is 24 hours of daylight in the summer and if you dont properly adapt to it you may suffer from insomnia. And you thought you were tired already?
There will be amazing sunsets, incredible views, phenomenal Thai food and the worst Mexican food in the U.S.

We are looking for skilled Concrete Finishers/Form Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete construction, including forming, tying rebar, placing and finishing concrete, or possess specialized expertise in one particular area of concrete construction.

Responsibilities
* Placing and finishing concrete slabs, walls, curb and gutter and sidewalks, including broom finishes and hard trowel finishes (both machine and by hand).
* Hand screeding, Vibra-screeding and Laser screeding.
* Operating walk behind trowels and ride-on trowels.
* Operating power vibrators to consolidate concrete.
*Installing steel reinforcement.
* Forming curb and gutter, sidewalks, monolithic slabs, footing, and cast-in-place walls, gang forming and columns using various forming methods/systems.

Qualifications/Experience

* Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher/ Form Carpenter.
* Knowledge of layout and tying steel reinforcement.
* Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints and survey pins.
* Familiarity with concrete pump and heavy equipment operation.
* Carpentry skills for forming cast-in-place concrete.
* Knowledge of concrete finishing timing.
* Ability to think on your feet, take directions and take initiative.

Our season runs from May through October. Must be able to commit to a specific time frame between those months if not the entire season.
