Description
Layout and mark components of the transformer tanks and fitting for fabrication
Set up and operate lathe, milling machines, threading machines, and grinders to fabricate transformer fittings, machine parts, jibs and fixtures
Set up and operate computer controlled equipment to perform punching, notching and cutting operations on steel sheets, plates, roll steel, and components
Move stock to and from work areas
Perform basic maintenance, such as, but not limited to, replacing tips, nozzles, and o-rings, adding hydraulic fluid, and normal daily maintenance including cleaning of machine and mechanical adjustments as required, using basic tools.
May set up and operate other department machines
May perform other assigned duties elsewhere in the department as needed
