Essential Duties for the Design Project Coordinator I: Assists in the review and oversight of plan packages submitted by consultants. Coordinates design work among TxDOT entities, consultants and contractors. Designs projects, making design calculations and sketches of plans, layouts and typical sections. May schedule, coordinate and prepare documents for public hearings Receives project assignments, determines work requirements to complete project plans and coordinates scheduling to accommodate projects already underway. Reviews and compiles complete plan packages for submission to the responsible engineer or architect for review and signature. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned. Additional Duties for the Design Project Coordinator II: Reviews and oversees plan packages submitted by consultants May serve as a lead worker or project leader Additional Duties for the Design Project Coordinator III: Develops and prepares consultant work orders and agreements Serves as program coordinator responsible for coordination of advanced engineering/architectural projects from initiation to completion. Additional Duties for the Design Project Coordinator IV: Assists in planning and coordinating office operations. Provides training for area of responsibility.
