Mechanical Engineer - Submersible ROVs and Liquid Processing Equipment Location: Des Moines, Iowa Job Description: Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in submersible ROVs and liquid processing equipment, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and refining these technologies. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective operation, durability, and safety of our products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and Development: - Conceptualize and design mechanical components for submersible ROVs and liquid processing systems. - Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications. - Utilize CAD software for modeling and simulation tasks. 2. Research and Innovation: - Conduct research on emerging technologies to improve design and performance. - Innovate to enhance efficiency, reliability, and capability in harsh environments. 3. Testing and Validation: - Develop test plans and conduct tests to validate the performance of ROVs and equipment. - Analyze data to identify potential improvements and resolve design issues. 4. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and project management. - Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders. 5.
