Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Coordinator responsible for the coordination of projects involving a diverse range of products, including concrete aggregates, coarse gravel materials, and fine-grained sands. This role will be integral in developing safety policies, coordinating plans with supervisors and managers, overseeing program policies, and assisting in accident investigations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate safety policies and plans with supervisors and managers.
- Oversee the execution of program policies and assist in accident investigations and reporting.
- Conduct internal safety audits and inspect facilities and equipment for MSHA regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with MSHA inspectors during inspections and audits at all plants.
- Review citations with inspectors and staff.
- Assist in DOT compliance and maintain accurate record keeping.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing documentation, recording, and filing production and plant gradation reports.
- Answer phone calls and provide administrative support.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination and management.
- Proficient in construction management and document control.
- Experience with construction software and project management tools.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and accurately obtain necessary information from design plans and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in construction, skilled trades, maintenance, or related fields.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of structures.
- Ability to work with technology, preferably construction-specific.
Work Environment
This role involves onsite visits approximately 20% of the time, with the remainder spent in a well-equipped and maintained office in Ashland, NE. The work environment on the grounds can be dusty, dirty, and windy due to the nature of gravel, sand, and rock mining. However, all products are non-polluting and recyclable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
