The role involves interpreting blueprints to ensure high-quality products, adhering to schedules, and being cost-conscious. The operator must be proficient in TIG / MIG welding and capable of laser welding, coordinating with CNC machining operations to meet production schedules. Responsibilities include setting up welding machines, performing part inspections, and maintaining certifications for welding and polishing. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience in a machine shop with finishing and welding operations equipment. 3-5 years of experience with various welding methods ( MIG , TIG , Stick, Laser). Proficiency in using measuring equipment with tolerances of +/- 0.002 to inspect work. Minimum high school degree. Strong communication skills. Trade school education. Proficiency in mathematics, computer 2D drafting, and general computing skills. Motivational skills. Experience in CNC machining operations.
