Press Brake Operator Job Description Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machine settings and product quality. Responsibilities Set up press brake machines for production. Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Ensure compliance with product specifications. Conduct regular inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Cross-train on other machinery as required. Essential Skills 3 years of experience in setting up and operating press brake machines. 3 years of experience with inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to cross-train on other machinery. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm. The environment is focused on precision and quality, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
