Electrical Manufacturing Estimator $62,400-$72,800/year Hybrid/Remote opportunity based out of Tulsa, Ok. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. This role requires expertise in developing detailed cost estimates for electrical systems and equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project evaluations and bid proposals. Responsibilities Develop detailed cost estimates for enclosed control systems, packaged equipment systems, and electrical motors based on customer specifications, blueprints, and project plans. Accurately assess material, labor, and time costs for each project. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Prepare and submit bid proposals within required deadlines. Follow up on outstanding bids with customers in a timely manner as outlined in company SLAs. Review and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to determine project scope. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost-saving opportunities during the estimation phase. Provide recommendations and alternative options to improve cost-effectiveness and project delivery. Collaborate with sales and project management teams to align estimates with customer expectations and company goals. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the estimation process. Implement feedback from project post-mortems to refine future estimates and reduce variances. Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and supporting documentation for future reference. Essential Skills Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating, preferably in the electrical controls, power distribution centers, or industrial equipment manufacturing sectors. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and power distribution equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Experience with estimating software and tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Journeyman license. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
