Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift/Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating sit-down gas forklifts, skid steers and balers, depending on prior experience. The position involves stacking and moving recycling materials and garbage, transporting materials throughout the facility, and emptying full containers. You will be responsible for general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment. The job requires working both indoors and outdoors and assisting wherever needed within the facility. Responsibilities Operate sit-down gas forklifts and potentially skid steers and balers. Stack and move recycling materials and garbage. Transport materials throughout the facility and empty full containers. Perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment. Assist in various tasks as needed within the facility. Work Environment First Shift: 4:00am until approximately 1:30pm Second shift: from 2:45 pm until approximately 12:30 am or 1:00 am. Employees have the option to sign up for as much overtime as desired. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monona, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
