This position applies engineering principles in soilsmechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and surveying while gaininghands-on field experience. We are dedicated to delivering innovativesolutions for complex civil, geotechnical, and environmental challenges,guided by our core values of integrity, passion, teamwork, and smart work.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Tasks:Assist in the development of project cost estimates, proposals, andmaterial take-offs.Perform technical analysis of the remediation methodologies of variouspreviously remediated projects.Perform other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned.Travel to project sites as necessary for extended durations.Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.Field Tasks:Preparing project submittals.Maintaining project record documents.Perform technical review of contract plans and specifications.Provide oversight and documentation related to project quality control inaccordance with the contract plans, specifications, and company policiesand procedures.Preparing daily construction reports and progress tracking.Manage, interpret, and perform site surveying.Assist with the management of subcontractors.Assist with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials.Assist Project Manager with project daily cost reporting and tracking.Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or arelated field.0-3 years of experience in construction or engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management software.Ability to read and interpret construction documents.Strong organizational and communication skills.Valid driver's license, ability to drive for the company.Preferred QualificationsInternship or co-op experience in construction or engineering, specificallysite surveying, earthwork, In-Situ Stabilization, mechanics of solids(particularly of soils), hydraulics, theory of structure, strengthof materials, engineering geology.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, andUSACE QCS systems.Experience with site surveying using both conventional and GPS methods.Assisting in the development of cost estimates and proposals.Experience with materials procurement and purchasing.Preferred CompetenciesProblem Solving & Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks and effectively resolvechallenges, champion safety and deliver exceptional quality standards.Autonomy & Prioritization: Self-motivated, ability to workindependently, prioritize and meet deadlines.Collaboration & Feedback: Committed to integrity, communication,teamwork and proactive customer responsiveness.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis office and field hybrid role requires frequent computer use and effectivecommunication.
