Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves client interfacing and requires proficiency in Excel, general computer knowledge, and strong social skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in general contracting, subcontracting, or engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage and oversee construction and project engineering tasks.
  • Utilize project management software, including Bluebeam, for effective project execution.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks based on customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively and articulate thoughts clearly.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to unique processes within the company.
  • Step into project management roles as needed, demonstrating leadership and critical thinking abilities.
  • Work on conveyor group projects, focusing on large steel structures detached from buildings.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in engineering or construction management.
  • Engineering degree in any discipline (except IT) or a construction management degree.
  • Project coordination experience of 3+ years is also considered.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and general computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Teachability and willingness to learn unique processes.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Extroverted personality and strong social skills.

Work Environment

The role involves travel, which may include 1-3 trips per month, with durations of 1-2 nights. The company has a strong financial standing, with the capability to perform all aspects of industrial material handling projects, including mechanical and control systems design, fabrication, installation, integration, commissioning, training, and maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
