Description
The Carpenter is an hourly employee stationed on jobsite responsible for functions related to jobsite cleanliness, safety, and miscellaneous carpentry work. The Carpenter reports to the Project Superintendent and will perform task as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Maintains cleanliness on the jobsite, sweeping, mopping, accumulating and hauling of trash.
Construction of temporary walls.
Installation of flooring and wall protection.
Construction of temporary handrails and guardrails.
Construction of access ramps and stairs.
Provides oversight of laborers.
Operating a forklift, after proper training and certification.
Leads the subcontractor composite clean-up crew (where applicable).

Work Environment:
The work environment will be a construction site. Requires the use of one or more of the following: power tools, hand tools, brooms, mops, shovels. Use of motorized equipment after training
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Additional Eligibility/Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screening
