**Yard Loader Operator - Newport, NH**

**What you will be doing:**

The Loader Operator is expected to operate the loader in a safe manner

at all times. Additionally, the loader operator is responsible

forcompleting all maintenance on plant for the safe and efficient

operation of the assigned plant including Plant/Yard inspections and

maintenance (as per the Plant Maintenance Schedule).Maintain concrete

block forms and surrounding area. Pour, strip and stockpile blocks in a

neat, orderly, and safe manner.Keep all yard and plant areas neat,

organized, and as safe as possible at all times.Snow plowing, removal,

and sanding of areas.Clean out under plant at the end of each

day.Oversee maintenance of washout area for mixer trucks.

**Requirements of the job:**

- Must be able to maneuver in and out of equipment safely

- Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times

throughout the workday

- Must inspect all areas of equipment and plant, daily

- Must perform plant maintenance

- Perform multiple tasks under stressful situations over long periods

of time while maintaining proper composure

- Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary

- Perform multiple tasks of sustained viewing activity at rear of

loader utilizing mirrors while driving and manipulating controls

**Maintenance of Yard Truck and Loader**

- Perform daily pre-trip inspections

- Perform weekly grease (more frequently when needed)

- At the end of each workday fuel yard truck and loader and sweep out

cabs

- Ensure that both are always kept clean inside and out

- Must be dependable, a team player and be safety conscious

- Must be able to deal professionally with plant employees and other

drivers

- Common sense and good judgement and willingness to work

- Excellent defensive driving skills

- Basic knowledge of equipment, plant and truck operations

**Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma or GED

- Previous experience as a laborer, loader and 10-wheel dump truck

operator.

**Schedule:**We guarantee 40 hours all year round! Voluntary layoff

accepted.
