At River City Construction, our Senior Project Managers leadcomplex construction projects from preconstruction throughcloseout-ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and executedto the highest standards of quality, safety, and clientsatisfaction. This position plays a key leadership role across thecompany and supports not only project delivery, but the developmentof people, processes, and future opportunities.Senior ProjectManagers are expected to maintain a clear big picture understandingof their projects while proactively managing priorities, solvingproblems, and driving successful outcomes. They leadcross-functional teams that may include superintendents, foremen,project managers, engineers, safety staff, quality controlmanagers, procurement, and other project personnel. This role alsocontributes to companywide initiatives by mentoring emerging talentand supporting pursuit efforts to build and maintain strong clientrelationships.We offer a flexible work environment that supportsmeeting team members where they are at in both work and life-whilekeeping project needs and deadlines top of mind. While a hybridwork arrangement may be available for this role, additional on-sitepresence may be required during key phases of the project or whenleading new teams and onboarding team members to ensure alignmentand collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Providehigh-level oversight and decision-making across all aspects ofproject execution, from preconstruction planning to final turnover.Guide teams in managing budgets, schedules, procurement, safety,and quality-ensuring alignment with RCC standards and clientexpectations.Team Development: Lead and mentor project teamsincluding PMs, PEs, superintendents, and field staff. Foster aculture of accountability, collaboration, and continuousimprovement. Model RCC's values through proactive communication,trust-building, and a team-first mindset.Client & PartnerRelationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clientsand key project stakeholders. Build and maintain strongpartnerships with owners, architects, design consultants, andsubcontractors. Support repeat business and future pursuits througha client-focused approach.Field Support & Execution: Work closelywith field teams and onsite leadership to resolve issues, managechange orders, conduct progress reviews, and ensure seamlesscommunication between field and office. Champion safety and qualityacross all aspects of work.Strategic Involvement: Collaborate withRCC's New Work and Pursuit teams to help secure futureopportunities through relationship development and projectstrategy.
