Welder/Fitter - Post Falls, ID | Contract to Hire
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Clean, modern manufacturing environment
Job Overview:
We are hiring a skilled Welder/Fitter to work on large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. This role requires proficiency in FCAW and MIG welding, blueprint reading, and working with mild steel.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and assembly
+ Perform MIG and FCAW welding in all positions
+ Work with mild steel on large-scale mining equipment
+ Conduct basic mechanical tasks involving valves, pipes, and hydraulic assemblies
Required Skills:
+ Proficiency in Flux Core (FCAW) and MIG welding
+ Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
+ Experience in steel fabrication and fitting
Additional Qualifications:
+ Fabrication and assembly experience preferred
+ Entry-level candidates welcome (weld testing provided)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
