Diesel/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of both diesel fleet engines and diesel equipment engines such as excavators, dozers, rollers, loaders and diesel trucks with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel trucks and equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and equipment. Replace and repair engine components, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and exhaust systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve skills and service quality. Qualifications: High competency in diesel engines. 3-5 years experience in diesel mechanics required. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have own tools Pay: $28-$35/ hour DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm, able to work overtime.
