What You'll Get to Do
The Machine Operator 3 is focused on unloading large glass sheets, managing material, and operating a cutting machine and reports to the MANAGER TITLE.
This role is perfect for an individual who has crane experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment A vital member of the Glass Division, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Safely unload glass from delivery trucks using an overhead crane; inspect and measure glass to match Bill of Lading.
Open crates, organize stock, and move glass into production.
Enter received inventory into the system using scanners and perform regular inventory counts.
Maintain crane safety through inspections and report issues to maintenance.
Support other departments as needed, including operating a lift truck and cleaning up broken glass.
What We Are Looking For
Experience operating an overhead crane and understanding of inventory management and cycle counts.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or with a partner.
Proficient withputers and familiar with 5S and lean manufacturing (TPS) principles.
Must follow all PPE and safety protocols.
