Project Coordinator County Materials

Project Coordinator for our customer, County Materials in Roberts, WI.

Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team with

accurate project take-offs, estimates, and quotes for storm sewer and

sanitary projects in the state of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin and

setting up new projects, and updating and closing them in SXE Insight.

The Pipe Project Coordinator works closely with sales representatives,

dispatch, and the operations manager. Responsibilities Creates accurate

take-offs and quotes using Manhole Pro and PJM. Reviews construction

drawing plans and designs to ensure that quotes and estimates adhere to

project specifications and standards. A Pipe Project Coordinator quotes

at least 400 projects per season. Stays up to date with city, county,

and dot specification changes in the state of Minnesota and Western

Wisconsin. Searches for construction projects/leads using construction

connect, Quest CDN, MBEX, and City or County Websites and adds projects

to the public bid calendar. Obtains plans, addendums, and plan holder

lists for each project bidding. Creates a project folder in the company

server and saves all relevant information to the folder. Reviews

estimates with Sales Representatives or Project Managers as needed. Sets

up new projects in SXe and enters them in the job log. Obtains quotes

from vendors for special resale items. Closes projects in SXE and

submits a list of unsold special structures to sales representatives and

pipe operations for billing and disposal. A strong understanding of

concrete pipe and precast manufacturing processes, plant production

capabilities, and stormwater and sanitary applications is a must.
